Two more exhibitions, both in early 2014, have been added to the list of my upcoming shows. Information on all of the shows follows in chronological order:
The Art of Description, a group exhbition curated by Douglas Stapleton, Assistant Curator of Art at the Illinois State Museum Chicago Gallery, will open on November 25, 2013 at the Chicago gallery of the Illinois State Museum in the James R. Thompson Center. Other confirmed artists participating are: Sandra Binion, Karen Perl, Steve Carelli, Richard Deutsch and Peter Butterfield. This exhibition will travel and I'll post other venues as I learn of them.
A solo exhibition of my paintings in oil and pastel will be shown in the Len G. Everett Gallery at Monmouth College in Monmouth, Illinois. This exhibition will open on January 13, 2014, and run through February 7.
A solo exhibition of my paintings will be shown at the Southeastern Community College Art Gallery in West Burlington, IA. This exhibition opens on January 20, 2014, and runs through February 14.
Painting the Familiar and the Ordinary: Contemporary Still Life, a group exhibition curated by Ann Marie Hayes-Hawkinson, Director of the University Art Gallery at Western Illinois University, will open on March 8, 2014 and run through April 19. This exhibit will take place in the University Art Gallery on WIU's campus in Macomb, Illinois.
